Is Open Core HR open-source software?
No. Open Core HR is a commercial product supplied with source code. Your use and modification rights are governed by the licence accompanying your purchase. Third-party components retain their own licences.
What do I buy through CodeCanyon?
The planned core offering is the self-hosted backend and web application source package. The final listing will define the exact contents, price, licence and support terms. Installation, setup and mobile apps are sold separately.
Are hosting and installation included?
No. You provide compatible hosting and cover its ongoing costs. You can install the application yourself or purchase installation and setup services separately. The HR application needs PHP/MySQL infrastructure; this marketing website can be hosted separately on Cloudflare Workers.
Are Android and iOS apps included?
Mobile apps are a separate offering. Branding, features, source delivery, developer accounts and publishing assistance need to be agreed as part of the mobile engagement. App-store fees and approval are handled under the relevant platform’s requirements.
Can my developers customize it?
Source delivery lets your developers work with the Laravel backend and React web application, subject to your purchased licence. Redistribution, resale and other permitted uses must be checked against the final terms.
Does it support multiple companies or SaaS resale?
The current product is designed for a single organization’s self-hosted deployment. Multi-company management and a SaaS control plane are not included. Don’t assume a source-code purchase grants resale rights; check the final licence.
What about updates and support?
Update access and product support will be described in the final CodeCanyon listing. Installation, customization, ongoing maintenance and mobile work are separate services with an agreed scope. No lifetime support commitment is implied.
